„Радићу.“ and „Ја ћу радити.“ mean exactly the same thing, and both are completely correct - a fact that trips up learners who assume one of them has to be a mistake. The real trap sits one step further: a word order that looks like a natural blend of the two and is neither.
Serbian marks a reflexive verb with a free-standing се instead of a suffix, and most of the time it lines up with Russian's -ся closely enough to stop thinking about it. It is the exceptions - a handful of everyday verbs reflexive in one language and plain in the other - that make a fluent-sounding sentence suddenly wrong.
