Who this is between

These terms are an agreement between you and Dmitrii Neverovskii, Izmailskaya 76, Krasnodar, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, the operator of Govorim srpski. By creating an account or using the site, you accept them.

What the service is

Govorim srpski teaches Serbian from A1 to C2: original grammar lessons, exercises, vocabulary, flashcards, reading, listening, writing and speaking practice, with progress tracking. It is a learning tool. It is not a school, it issues no certificate, and it makes no promise about the level you will reach.

Your account

Use a real email address that belongs to you, keep your password to yourself, and do not share the account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, attacks the service, or is used to redistribute our material.

Free and Premium

The course itself is free and stays free: the entire grammar course, all written exercises, the open reading, listening and writing catalogues with their instant checking, the placement test — which needs no account at all — the whole of level A1, every unit of it end to end with its topic tests and its level final, and a flashcard deck of up to 50 cards.

Premium adds the graded tests from A2 on — every topic test and every level final above A1 — speaking practice, AI feedback on your writing, an unlimited flashcard deck, and the learning units above A1 together with the reading, listening and writing materials written for them. Speaking and the writing tutor are Premium at every level, A1 included, because both are metered services we pay for by the minute and by the request. What Premium never sells is a shortcut: no subscription passes a test for you, unlocks a level, or shortens the topic tests a level final waits for. A locked level is opened by passing the previous level's final test, and by nothing else.

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Premium is a recurring subscription, charged through the payment provider's hosted checkout at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. Card details are handled by the provider, never by us.

It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your subscription page: Premium access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charge is made.

We do not refund part-used periods except where consumer law in Serbia requires it. If a price changes, the new price applies from the next renewal and we tell you beforehand.

Content and intellectual property

All lessons, exercises, texts, audio and translations on the site are original work owned by the operator. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning.

You may not copy, republish, resell or scrape the content, build a competing product from it, or train a model on it. Quoting a sentence with a link back is fine; mirroring the course is not.

What you write or say in an exercise stays yours. You grant us the permission needed to store it, check it, and pass it to the providers named in the privacy policy so that feedback can be produced.

Fair use of the service

Do not automate access, hammer the API, try to extract answer keys, share one account between several people, or use the AI features for anything other than practising Serbian. These limits exist so that the service stays cheap enough to keep the free tier alive.

AI features are assistance, not authority

Writing feedback, speech scoring and CEFR estimates are produced automatically. They are useful guidance, and they are sometimes wrong. A placement result is not a certified level and tutor feedback is not an authoritative correction — anything official needs an accredited examiner.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running and the material correct, but it is provided as it is, with no guaranteed uptime. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn. If a paid feature is withdrawn during a period you have paid for, you may cancel and we refund the remainder.

Liability

So far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data caused by something outside our control. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account from your settings at any time. We may end the agreement if you materially breach these terms. The sections that still make sense afterwards — intellectual property, liability, governing law — survive termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Serbia, and disputes go to the courts of Serbia. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.

Changes to these terms

We update this page when the terms change and move the date at the top. Substantial changes are announced in the app at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
