First steps into cases
Every noun you've used so far has quietly been in the nominative case - the dictionary form, the subject of a sentence. Now meet the idea of case itself, and the one change that matters most at this level: feminine -а nouns swap it for -у the moment they become a direct object. Review thirty core verbs that put objects after them, listen to someone talking through everything they see and do around a new apartment, read a short text built entirely on nominative-versus-accusative pairs, write a few sentences naming things you see and finally say a sentence built the same way.
